Background
Lorraine graduated from Pacifica Graduate Institute with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 1998. She developed her expertise counseling children and parents at Henry Ohlhoff Outpatient Program in San Francisco starting in 1996. She supported teens and their families to recover from addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression while facilitating groups for adolescent girls and adults recovering from substance abuse. After counseling hundreds of families, Lorraine is skilled at determining the level of treatment required for teens and adults to get back on track and lead happy, successful lives. Her specialty is bringing mothers and daughters closer so they can navigate their evolving relationship through the challenges of adolescence.
Professional Experience
Lorraine is passionate about mentoring girls and young women to thrive and create healthy relationships. She cofounded Teen Solutions in Mill Valley, is an active member of The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Marin County Chapter of CAMFT, and the Women’s Association of Addiction Treatment Specialists. In addition to being a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, she is a Certified Girls Circle Facilitator. She is trained in Somatic Experiencing, Focusing, Attachment Theory and Family Systems.

Background
Richard graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 1995. He has counseled families through the toughest challenges of raising teen boys, such as drug and alcohol abuse. He was a primary therapist at Adolescent Recovery Services, an Intensive Outpatient Program in Marin, where he counseled teens and families, and facilitated adult and adolescent groups.
Professional Experience
Richard mentored at camps and outdoor education programs, including the Youth Leadership Conference, Challenge Day, and the Young Men’s Ultimate Weekend. He is the co founder of Teen Solutions in Mill Valley and Past President of the Board of the Young Men’s Ultimate Weekend. He is a member of the Marin Chapter of The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. In addition to his counseling services, Richard mentors teen boys through hiking, team meetings and modern rites of passage initiations. He enjoys helping young men discover their individual qualities, as well as their role of responsibly serving and protecting their community.
